Dental Care in a Relaxing Environment
Nitrous oxide sedation, also known as “laughing gas,” is commonly
used to make treatment more comfortable. This sedation is inhaled
through a mask that allows you to breathe in the medication, and
induces a state of relaxation. Local anesthetic will be administered
in conjunction with nitrous oxide to eliminate pain.

Defeat Gum Disease Painlessly
Gum Disease Treatment Bellevue
The main cause for tooth loss is not decay – it's periodontal (gum)
disease! We are pleased to offer our patients a powerful weapon in
the fight against gum disease. It's called ARESTIN™. It comes in
powder form and contains very tiny microspheres that are not
visible to the eye. These microspheres deliver a time-released
antibiotic directly to the site of the infection (the spaces between
the gums and teeth). ARESTIN kills the bacteria that cause gum
disease. The best part is that it's all painless!
What is Wellness Dentistry?
Let's say you become ill and decide to go to your doctor for care.
And let's say that you are treated and you recover. That's just
great! But what if you went to your doctor when you were NOT ill and
you learned how NOT to get sick? That would be even better! That's
what we call "Wellness Care." And that's just what we do in our
practice. We can certainly get your teeth and gums healthy and
repair any damage just like any dental office can. But we go a step
further and show you how to avoid dental problems before they become
problems. We start with a very thorough examination. Most of our
patients say they've never had such an extensive examination of
their gums or teeth. We examine your bite and how your teeth come
together. We look for oral cancer, gum disease, signs of wear on the
teeth, and in short, any problem that you might encounter at a later
date. We want to head off any problems and make your teeth and gums
healthier so you will be spending less time in the dental chair!
Do You Find Yourself Falling Asleep on the Job?
Sleep Apnea Dental Treatment Bellevue WA
If you or a loved one find yourself falling asleep during the
day, or snoring loudly or having interrupted breathing during sleep,
it may be sleep apnea. For those who have been diagnosed with this
condition, modern dentistry has new treatment options such as oral
appliances. These have been successful for over 90% of the patients
who use them and are an alternative to CPAP machines. Ask us about
this treatment and start getting the rest you deserve.
Saving Hopeless Teeth
Dental Root Canal Treatment
Bellevue
Teeth with roots that have been damaged or infected used to
require extraction, which can cause a lot of problems and should be
avoided whenever possible. The good news is that we are well
experienced in advanced root canal therapy. A root canal is a
procedure to fix a tooth by removing the pulp chamber of the tooth
and filling it with a filling material. This is often necessary when
dental decay reaches the nerve of the tooth (or the tooth has become
infected), and a simple filling will not be suitable. In the not too
distant past, root canals would have required the tooth to be
extracted. When dentists started performing root canals, they were
quite painful, and the root canal has received a reputation as
something to be avoided. However, with modern anesthetics and
technology, the root canals we can perform in our practice are
tolerable and sometimes even painless.
